Objectives
The project aims to strengthen Europe’s cyber resilience by moving from reactive cybersecurity to proactive, adaptive and automated protection. AIAGENT4CYBER will design, develop and validate AI-driven agents able to monitor complex digital environments, detect anomalies and attacks, coordinate response actions, support vulnerability discovery and protect sensitive data within secure and privacy-compliant infrastructures. The project combines generative and adversarial AI, Big Data Analytics, High-Performance Computing, knowledge graphs, graph neural networks and large language models to improve detection accuracy, response speed and operational scalability.
NVISION role:
NVISION supports both technical and non-technical aspects of the project. It leads two main tasks: 1) data management, which includes data provenance, governance, security, and privacy; 2) design and development of a federated learning framework for collaborative cybersecurity in critical infrastructures and digital systems. NVISION will also assist with integration testing and validation of AIAGENT4CYBER in the digital health use case.
Funding:
Funded by the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) under the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre (ECCC) as the granting authority. Grant Agreement number: 101249698. Call: DIGITAL-ECCC-2024-DEPLOY-CYBER-07. Project duration: 36 months.
