Design of microelectronic architectures in ASIC format, based on HW accelerators optimized for IoT applications in the health sector.


Develop and implement an IoT processing platform based on RISC-V for digital health applications, optimized for low power consumption and high performance. This includes the development of innovative HW accelerators and advanced algorithms. AI-based EDA tools will be researched for HW/SW co-design, reducing development and testing times. Finally, industrial experimentation will be conducted to optimize edge computing applications in the digital health sector.

Our role

Investigate the high-computation needs at the Edge, focusing on Artificial Intelligence algorithms in various sectors, especially digital health. An optimal computing architecture will be established to accelerate operations at the Edge, based on RISC-V and with accelerators for DNN networks, implemented at the chip level to integrate into RISC-V or function independently.
